| only way is to use the external blocking program . I use it often . that way people on the list can't even see my server yes , spotter is useless . static IPs are maybe 1 % of overal addresses . I think dynamic IP banning , aka range blocking should be seriously considered for a spotter . because nutcracker and ban list themselves really pose no stoping power . me personally have 0 people banned in spotter ... | |

| yeah ... well , many people do not know english , but I always say , not knowing the law doesn't justify you . if you go 200 kmh on 120 kmh speed limit , and say to an officer , "I didn't know" . well , mister , that ain't gonna cut it ... english is the widely accepted language with easy basics ,learn or be kicked , your fault ... but even worse from silent ones are those taht continue to talk on their language , no matter how many times you say ENGLISH , uf , that alone makes me nervous | |

Seriously, that would be lame to add Range Blocking in Spotter. No one would be literally satisfied with it. For example, Blocking my IP Range will also block 3 other ISF Member's IP and similarly blocking Bull's ip range is going to block a WSE Clan member. So blocking range will never satisfy the condition to ban just a person. Who wants to ban the innocent , and yeah Blocking a particualr ip of dynamic ip can be done by placing a cookie etc.. but I don't think any of those would work with Sniper Elite, as its just a ping based game. Not sure though. | |

| yeah ... but maybe , IP range we keep just for those on the lowest bottom of community ... but yeah , there is always that "collateral damage" ... we would need some super duper new way of restricting players , but since none is on horizon , we better stick to good old ALT+K on the spot | |
